What we don't ask for

Clipyzy has no accounts. Using it never requires your name, an email address, or a password.

What we collect

When you enter a key, the app records a device fingerprint — an installation id generated on your device, plus platform, OS, OS version, device model and screen size — so a key can be matched to the same device on later visits and kept to its 3-device limit. We also log the IP address and user-agent used at that moment.

The IP address is kept for audit purposes only — to help spot obvious key sharing after the fact — and is never used to decide whether a device is granted or denied access.

We also record usage events per key (for example, that a split was started or completed) to track your balance and to diagnose problems.

What we do with your video

Your uploaded video is used only to produce the clips you asked for. The source video is deleted from our servers as soon as the split finishes. The resulting clips are kept for 2 days so you can download them, then they are permanently deleted, including from our cloud storage provider (Amazon S3), which enforces the same deletion automatically.

Who sees this data

Video and clip data pass through our application servers and Amazon S3, which stores and serves the files. We do not sell any data, and we do not share it with anyone outside of what is needed to run the service.

Your choices

You can remove a device from your key at any time from the "My key" page, which also clears its fingerprint record. To stop using the service entirely, simply stop using your key — there is no account to delete because none was created.
